Are doctors looking in the wrong places?
The answer may surprise you...
A 2023 research by Dr. Howard Schubiner’s Journal of Pain developed a new clinical model for primary pain.
The results were surprising…
88% of patients with chronic back/neck pain were diagnosed with primary pain (brain-generated), despite 97% showing “structural damage” on MRI scans.
Structural issues didn’t explain their pain. Brain-based processes did.
The pain lies in your limbic system.
Doctors used to think pain existed only in damaged tissue.
But multiple Harvard studies and clinical fMRI research reveal something different:
…And the loudest section of that orchestra is your limbic system.
Chronic pain is a symphony conducted by your brain.
Your limbic system controls three critical functions:
Fear detection
Memory storage
And survival responses.
When the limbic system is working, these three sections play in harmony by only feeling threatened when your life is in danger, storing memories with friends and loved ones, and activating appropriate responses for the right situations.
This harmony is what lets you shift from survival mode to healing mode.
This harmony lets you get a full deep sleep, and helps you break free from constant anxiety over little things you know don’t really matter.
But chronic stress, trauma, or illness can cause your limbic system to get stuck playing the same scary song on repeat.
Here’s what happens when your limbic system is dysregulated:
Your amygdala (fear center) starts seeing danger when a loved one touches your shoulder.
Your hippocampus (memory center) keeps replaying traumatic experiences, even when you’re lying in the safety of your own bed.
And your hypothalamus (survival center) keeps your body locked in emergency mode when you’re trying to focus on important tasks like your career.
Together this creates a symphony of life altering symptoms like:
Lack of sleep.
Chronic pain rates of 7-9 on a scale of 1-10
Chronic anxiety makes you avoid important dinners with friends.
Feeling guilty asking your partner to help you with tasks you used to easily do.
Avoiding looking in mirrors because you don't recognize the exhausted person staring back
Watching your children from the couch because you’re just too exhausted to watch them.
The problem isn't your body. It's the conductor of your limbic system symphony.
Most programs try to drown out this symphony by adding more instruments (medications, supplements) or teaching you to ignore the music (meditation, positive thinking).
But the limbic system keeps conducting the same threatening tune.
With my 30 day limbic system retraining protocol…
…You’ll be able to feel safe and comfortable in your skin again.
Doors open in open on October 6th, 2025 and I can’t wait for you to see what’s inside.
