This is physical therapy for your brain.
I can't believe he said this...
According to UCLA Health, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) affects 10-15% of the world’s population.
Although many cases go undiagnosed…
Here's how one person described IBS on Reddit:
"My life is being ruined by my IBS... I hate being away from the toilet for too long... day trips, camping, holidays abroad etc are all things of the past."
My student Hunter was one of those people.
For six years, he dealt with IBS and GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, where stomach contents frequently leak back into the esophagus).
The GERD was so severe that he couldn't even lie flat on his back to sleep.
Hunter desperately tried different solutions like:
Strict elimination diets
Endless gastroenterologist appointments
Reading countless books on the mind body connection
Hunter understood the concepts of the mind body connection, but nothing seemed to work.
Why?
Because Hunter never learned the practical steps to rewire your brain.
That’s the problem with most mind body programs. They give you plenty of information, but they don’t give you implementation.
So Hunter kept avoiding his favorite foods.
Hunter only found comfort lying on his maple wood floors shunning social events in the fear of a flare up…
This isn't living, it's managing.
Hunter reached out to me on X (formerly Twitter). His case was so extreme I wasn't sure if my Brain Based Healing protocol could help him.
Still, I understood what was happening:
When you have chronic symptoms, your brain thinks there's danger and becomes afraid of the sensations.
This fear creates a feedback loop that keeps symptoms going.
And if I was right about Hunter's brain being stuck in this loop, I knew how to break it.
In IBS, the gut-brain axis is stuck in a dysregulated loop. These signals between gut and brain become amplified, misinterpreted, or poorly controlled.
Hunter's brain had learned to interpret normal digestive sensations as threats.
So I gave Hunter the exact Somatic Tracking process with guided audio.
Here’s the deal…
Somatic tracking breaks the fear loop by teaching your brain safety instead of threat. It's like physical therapy for your brain by increasing your brain's resilience to stress through repeated practice.
Hunter:
Used guided reassurance to reduce the fear
Observed his pain with curiosity to establish a baseline
Used my "symptom soothing" method during flare-ups to stop them in their tracks
The results were surprising…
After one day, Hunter sent me this:
Hunter was able to drink beer and eat pizza.
Something he avoided for years.
Maybe you’re like Hunter and you don’t need more information.
You need implementation.
Hunter needed the clinical neuroplasticity techniques that taught his brain the difference between real threats and false alarms.
Inside Brain-Based Healing, you'll get the exact Somatic Tracking process I gave Hunter, along with:
Clinical neuroplasticity techniques delivered in guided format
Evidence-based exercises and somatic tracking practices for every module
A trauma-informed action plan to help you build new neural pathways
One daily protocol under 20 minutes (for 30 days)
The doors close Sunday October 12th at 11:59 PM PST.
With love and healing,
